First mobile post!!

So this is what I will look like when I do my mobile post ok!!

I'm not sure I cover the extent of my actual trip and where I plan to go so ill include all my specifics here and when I know them. 

So my journey will begin with my dad and I at Omaha Nebraska around 1:32pm on the 1st of July is when my plane lands. From there we are going to drive cross country to meet some family and then we should end up in New York City 4 days later. That's when I'll be cut loose an begin my traveling I might just keep my phone plan. But I'm not too sure yet.

So far I haven't packed anything and I'm not too sure what will be necessary for my trip. 
I've got on my list so far some 
Cargo pants
2 pairs of shorts (mesh material or cargo)
3 pairs of shirts (quick dry material)
Some riding/walking/hiking boots 
Light rain coat
Stuff able sleeping bag
Tent roughly 4 pounds
4 pairs of Socks
One road bike
I'm going to Emil my passport and drivers license to myself if I need them. 
A fishing hat or hiking hat
Good size backpack mid way between 
A school bag and a campers super bag
Canteen or two for water
Toothbrush and paste
Deodorant
Soap/conditioner/shampoo all in one
Toilet paper
Hunting knife 
Multi tool
Compass
Road/camping map
Flash light
iPod
Solar charger
Lock and key for my bike
Rope
And I'm deciding if I should bring a dog along for the company

Tell me what I'm forgetting

  1. I think a dog would be great company but you would need a place to keep him and flying with a dog is nearly impossible. I say you need a GPS.

  3. I have a waterproof compression bag and a good back pack. I'll pack them for the New York trip!

    When you're back from Europe,try to explore America's rivers with via sea kayak. You can get one cheaply and camp on sandy banks with plenty of firewood. I thought of this during quick trip to Nebraska border overlooking Missouri river.
