To pops

I'm great pretty happy, that you have keep in touch and kept me posted with all that's happened. I am happy to have you by my side. I'm juggling a couple opportunities coming back into Cali. And if all goes well we will have much to celebrate. I'm happy you offered me the place next door. Is that the one on the corner of the street!! That's a lot of land you are chasing your dream and I'm happy you've got that down. I only wonder what other things you can come up with. Being with you is one big adventure. Im on my way to making my own dream thanks for the support!! Can't wait to touch down and see you all again. Till then bonjourno.. I hope that means have a good day hahaha.
The other weekend I visited this little costal village named Portovenere
Learned how to say
"Dovel la pizzeria" where is the pizzeria!!
I think I'll remember Italy for the color choices they make on these buildings.

  1. Ehi là figlio!

Così felice che si sta facendo bene e prendendo queste belle immagini. Mi manchi. Le mie case sono le vostre case. Mi comprerò abbastanza per tutti.

Join Liz and I in Dakota if you can. I will be there January 1-14. See you soon.

  2. My son,

Thinking of you. As this year draws to a close, I can't but contemplate the great distances we've traveled in mind and spirit. Dreaming is a dangerous thing once you've DONE what you've only THOUGHT about so far. This is why it is soooo important to dream big, and upon achieving one to produce a second and third one.

My first apartment, after three years in a tent, was in a beach-front luxury condo in Rio. I looked for and was determined to buy a beach house in Brazil. I really felt I could live the rest of my life, or at least until Liz's 18th birthday, in a tent. i'd visit my Brazilian house on vacations. Now we have country houses in America and will visit rest of world in retirement. A dream come true, for sure, but a different one.

For good or ill, we but work for food and shelter. We but differ in the size and furnishings of the spaces we occupy. The wealthy have large, quite and private spaces in populated areas...Those of modest means must travel far from man's creations to experience the richness of God's handiwork an experience and even GREATER feeling of wealth, solitude and well-being.

I have NEVER felt poor in nature; never deprived of my daily bread or jealous of another's toys when sitting before a mountain sunset. Save on the coldest days, I find house-dwelling rather confining by comparison.

Chase your dreams...catch them...BBQ and eat 'em! Rest, rinse and repeat. It's a great way to journey through the lovely days God has gifted us.

    All my love,

    Dad

  3. Hey sonny.

I'm sitting next to Liz as you're texting her from Belize. She's actually wearing a Belizian shirt. Funny stuff. Making final preparation for December trip and all of our return to So Cal. It's gonna be good to see you soon. It would be cool to hear your NEW observations of Belize in light of all that's happened since you were there last. Write about it, and own it!

    Love -

    Dad
